On a sunny but windy day in August 2014, the Ramblers had a walk from the National Trust car park at Ringstead, down to the bay and back up the steep hillside. The effort needed was rewarded by a picnic lunch and wonderful views.

outing to london, June 16th 2014
A group of WI members and friends set out for London on 16th June. After a delayed start due to train delays at Eastleigh and a taxi ride to Wareham for some, London was reached at mid day. Here members of the group went their separate ways. Some headed for the shops while others, after lunch in the restaurant on the top floor of Waterstones Bookshop, Picadilly, made their way to the Royal Academy to view the Summer exhibition.
It was then time for tea and so it was off to the Ritz Hotel where afternoon tea was taken and enjoyed by all.

PARTY FOR MARGARET
Having run the Computer group for several years,
Margaret Boswell has decided it is time for a break. The members of the computer group, though sorry to lose her, wish her well in her newly gained spare time. (Margaret continues to run the Book Club and is an active Committee member.) At their last meeting the members enjoyed a strawberry cream tea. Jenni Fleming presented Margaret with chocolates and a gift voucher and Frances Pick presented a bouquet.
The group will continue to meet on a 'self- help' basis. Please see Computer Group page for dates and times.
